Steven G. Teraoka established Teraoka & Partners LLP 32 years ago to serve as general counsel to global enterprises, as well as to regional and local businesses, professionals and individuals. Named in this issue of Super Lawyers® and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, Teraoka currently oversees offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles that emphasize corporate and commercial practice, U.S. subsidiary set-ups, employment matters, international licensing, Japanese language services, mergers and acquisitions, executive immigration and business litigation.

Teraoka draws from business trial experience, including experience with the California Supreme Court, to advise corporate clients. He is a past president of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California and is closely connected with the Pacific Rim business community. His firm assists Kikkoman® in its soy sauce marketing and regularly advises the world’s largest wholesaler of Asian foods, JFC International Inc. It has performed work related to Japanese animé and the Pokemon® phenomenon, helped Sega® in business acquisitions, assisted Nomura Research® and its U.S. affiliates in corporate structuring and has negotiated TV agreements to broadcast LPGA® tournaments in Japan.
