Profile

With more than twenty-five years of elder law experience, Claire E. Lewis is on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a past President of the chapter. She currently chairs the Chapter's Government and Public Affairs Committee. A founding member and first Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association's Elder Law Section, she now serves as Chair of its Public Policy and Education Committees. She is on the Executive Committee of the Estate Planning Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and recently completed terms on the Boards of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association and Area Agency on Aging for Central Indiana. Editor of the Laws of Aging, a legal guide for older adults, Lewis received the Indiana Bar Foundation's 2005 Law Related Education award.
