Profile

Mike is a 1973 graduate of The University of Notre Dame and a 1976 graduate of the Louisiana State University Law Center. After graduation from law school, he clerked for the U.S. District Judge, Honorable E. Gordon West. Since 1981, he has been with the law firm of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette, concentrating on the defense of medical malpractice, product liability, civil rights and general insurance cases. He has tried, as lead counsel, over 100 jury trials. As a certified mediator, Mike has mediated over 750 cases through the mediation and arbitration firm of Perry, Dampf, Watts & Associates.
