Profile

For the past 15 years, Mike Brandt has represented clients on charges from murder to speeding tickets. While practicing primarily in criminal defense, Mike has defended clients in forfeitures, administrative hearings, and pre-charge cases. Mike has resolved thousands of cases throughout the state through negotiations, evidentiary hearings, court trials, and jury trials. Mike is frequently called upon to assist other attorneys on DWI and computer cases and acts as a mentor for new attorneys. Mike is known as a tireless advocate for his clients who has earned the respect of judges, prosecutors, and peers. Mike lectures frequently at continuing legal education seminars on evidence, DWIs, and technology issues and was a co-author of the Minnesota CLE DWI Deskbook.
