Profile

Margaret L. Shaw, a former civil litigator, has practiced Alternative Dispute Resolution for over 25 years. She joined JAMS when ADR Associates, a firm she co-founded, merged with JAMS in 2004. She has extensive experience mediating and arbitrating disputes in class and collective actions and in business/commercial, contract, securities, products liability, and professional malpractice. A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, she has settled hundreds of employment matters and is widely respected for persistence and creativity in reaching settlement. Ms. Shaw is a graduate of Smith College and New York University School of Law, where she teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution and negotiation.
